Our Team
Steven Mahoney is an experienced and trusted solicitor, born and raised on the Gold Coast. A graduate of The Southport School (2009) and Bond University, he holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), graduating in 2013. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in early 2014 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia shortly thereafter.
With over a decade of legal experience, Steven founded Steven Mahoney Lawyers & Notary in 2020. He acts as the firm’s Principal and sole practitioner, offering tailored legal advice across a range of areas including estate planning, estate administration, property law, commercial law, and civil litigation, as well as matters involving superannuation, taxation, and body corporate law.
Steven regularly appears in the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts, known for his practical advocacy and strong client representation. In 2025, he was appointed as a Notary Public for Queensland, further expanding his ability to assist clients with international documents and notarial services.
Deeply connected to the local community, Steven is actively involved in several Gold Coast sporting and professional associations, bringing a personal and accessible approach to his legal practice.
